Who We Are

Mick H.
CEO
​Mick brings over 25 years of experience in start-ups, project management, and trade service delivery. A qualified insurance loss adjuster, he played a key role in expanding RMIT's Graduate School of Business across Asia and later joined Johns Lyng Group’s senior leadership team, helping drive its growth to an ASX-listed company. Mick also founded the delivery arm of the RACV Emergency Home Assist program, pioneering innovative trade service models and rapid response systems.
Mike T.
COO
​Mike has 20 years of trade services operational management across some of Australia's biggest companies. He has held General Manager/Director and Partner positions within Origin Energy, RACV and Johns Lyng Group where he has delivered unparalleled service provisions across trade services. Mike thrives on looking at the 'how' to evolve and innovate business through technology and the following change management process. Mike counts himself fortunate to have partnered with a number of National businesses to develop pioneering products and service delivery capabilities that have truly changed the way service is delivered. In his 'past' life, Mike also held GM and Director roles in Manufacturing and Customer Services in his native UK. Mike loves building teams of like minded people that achieve awesome results and have fun along the way.


Dan K.
CFO
​Dan is our magic man when it comes to numbers! He has all the qualifications that you think he should - B.Bus (RMIT) majoring in Professional Accounting. He is a certified Chartered Accountant (CA) and has a great background in Business and Tax Advisory. Dan has previously spent 5 years with Blue Rock and has worked with clients across a vast range of industry, but has a specific specialisation within trade services clients. Dan provides our business with a level of professionalism in the area of numbers that we otherwise don't have! He gives the business our reporting and anaylsis and provides common sense to managing our corporate structure and M&A. His ability to manage multiple tasks with energy and enthusiasm make him a critical part of our family.
Chris C.
Group General Manager Construction - Director
With 15+ years experience in Building & Construction, Chris has strong passion and understanding of the construction industry. A qualified carpenter by trade, building in both the domestic & commercial spaces – Chris has since moved off the tools into roles of Site Supervisor, Project Manager & now Group General Manager.

With a continued involvement in the commercial, domestic, insurance, retail & maintenance space – Chris thoroughly enjoys tackling every task with a can do attitude. A firm believer in surrounding yourself with positive people to achieve positive outcomes.


Ryan M
Group Commercial Manager - Director
​Ryan has over 30 years experience in operational delivery in the construction space focusing largely in the Plumbing sector. He has years of experience of working in and along side both large and small scale building teams always with the goal of delivering a great result for his clients. Ryan has joined us for our next chapter as Commercial manager with the focus on building an estimating and delivery team that provides unparallel value to all our clients. He has core values based around loyalty and service.
Brendan B.
Senior Project Manager - Director
Brendan has 30 years experience as a carpenter and project manager, working across a large range of both residential and large commercial projects. He has an expanse of knowledge in all trade areas which makes him a great asset to our business as Director of Project Management. Brendan shows great leadership skills running our projects team and delivering quality results for our clients. Brendan's mantra of "We can do anything" helps our clients complete many different and interesting projects with the greatest of care and oversight.


Mitch M.
Group Maintenance Manager - Director
With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, Mitch adds valued expertise and dedication to the BSG team. After completing a Bachelor of Business Management and Marketing, Mitch made his move into the Building and Construction world, gaining experience across various roles from Procurement through to Project Coordination. Now, as our Director – Trade Services, Mitch oversees everything systems and processes and has consistently led teams of people to deliver positive outcomes for our clients. Mitch believes in fostering a collaborative environment and positive culture amongst his peers, ensuring his teams not only deliver a high quality of service but enjoy themselves along the way.
